GALLERY 6:   VINTAGE TIN & OLD IRON

Once they were shiny and new. Once they sat on showroom floors, costing most
of a year’s wages. Their interiors had that “new car” smell. Fenders
and hoods gleamed with rich new paint, and motors came to life and quietly purred
at the command of their new owner.

Today, some are prized by collectors, lovingly restored, and still highly
valuable. But many sit beside equally vintage buildings, or rot away in a grassy field,
interiors filled with mice and dust, tires worn and flat, bodies rusted and bent, windows
broken, motors frozen or missing. Once so expensive, now cast aside.

Today they are simply....... VINTAGE TIN.
